My name is Andrew Hill, and this blog will be about my academic year-long study abroad experiences at Kansai Gaidai University. I was able to have this opportunity due to the tuition exchange program that is offered by the University of Florida’s (my home institution) Japanese Department. The vast majority of my classmates (there are eleven of us in total that come from UF this year) will be making either written or video blogs of some kind during our stay. Since I am not the most creative or entertaining writer, I will try and focus on some more practical applications that I can create from my experiences here in Japan. Not to say that this means that everything here will be cut and dry and boring; there will be plenty of crazy stuff that will make its way into my blog, probably in the video section. My girlfriend Sandra Mejia and I were lucky enough to both be accepted into this program this year (thus the title of the blog ^^), so if you read her blog (see: Dara’s Blogspot Blog and Dara’s WordPress Blog ) then you might occasionally see some overlap between our activities. 🙂

So, if you need to know where things are or some “how-to”s for whatever, then I hope you find what you are looking for here! 🙂 I will try and keep things organized so that the different topic areas of my blog are easy to reach. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to leave some comments!
